KTR Rotex 48 Large GG25 Cast Iron Hub Un Bored Max Bore 62mm

Rotex GG25 Cast Iron Large Unbored Hub: Jaw coupling hubs are used in a wide variety of power transmission applications where torque needs to be transferred between two rotating shafts, such as a motor and gearbox or a motor and pump. Working together with a flexible spider, they transmit torque reliably while the spider absorbs shock, vibration and small amounts of shaft misalignment, helping protect connected equipment. This Rotex hub is manufactured from GG225 grey cast iron, a robust and dimensionally stable material that offers good strength, natural vibration damping and excellent value, making it a popular choice for general industrial drives. The large hub design provides extra material around the bore, allowing it to accommodate larger shaft diameters than a standard hub whilst giving you a stronger, more secure shaft connection.
Benefits: Natural Vibration damping, choice of spider hardness, GG25 grey cast iron construction
