Chains & Links

This roller chain & links range is commonly used in industrial and agricultural drives, to transmit power between sprockets.

Leaf Chains

  • Related terms: lifting chains, forklift chains, lift truck chains, balance chains
  • Heavy-duty chains made from stacked link plates joined by pins, designed for lifting and balancing rather than power transmission. Running over sheaves instead of sprockets, they are commonly used in forklift masts, hoists, machine tool counterweights and other load-lifting equipment.

Simplex Chains

  • Related terms: single strand roller chain, simplex roller chain, transmission chain, BS and ANSI roller chain
  • Single strand roller chains used to transmit power between sprockets in a wide range of drives. Available in British Standard and ANSI pitches, they are the most common chain type for conveyors, agricultural machinery, packaging equipment and general industrial applications.

Duplex Chains

  • Related terms: double strand roller chain, duplex roller chain, two-row chain, duplex transmission chain
  • Roller chains with two parallel strands joined by common pins, offering significantly higher load capacity than simplex chain of the same pitch. Ideal for drives that need to transmit more power without increasing chain size or sprocket diameter.

Triplex Chains

  • Related terms: triple strand roller chain, triplex roller chain, three-row chain, heavy-duty transmission chain
  • Roller chains with three parallel strands for maximum load capacity within a given pitch. Designed for heavy-duty power transmission in mining equipment, industrial presses, steel processing and other high-torque drives.

Simplex Links

  • Related terms: simplex connecting links, split links, offset links, spring clip links
  • Connecting and offset links for joining, repairing or adjusting the length of simplex roller chain. Available in spring clip, riveting and offset styles, they make installation and maintenance quick and straightforward without replacing the whole chain.

Duplex Links

  • Related terms: duplex connecting links, duplex split links, duplex offset links, double strand chain links
  • Connecting and offset links designed to join or shorten duplex roller chain. They allow fast repairs and length adjustments on double strand drives while maintaining the chain's full load capacity.

Triplex Links

  • Related terms: triplex connecting links, triplex split links, triplex offset links, triple strand chain links
  • Connecting and offset links made to suit triplex roller chain, used to join, repair or alter chain length on heavy-duty drives. Matching the correct link to your chain helps ensure reliable, safe operation under high loads.
